Kiteboarding Lessons

Most of the time, we are located at Fisherman’s Huts Beach. However, since we are a mobile center, we operate at different locations depending on the skill level of our students. For this reason, lessons must be planned in advance to ensure that we place you in the right location and that we have avalibility for you.

Yes, we offer a package of 4 private lessons of 2hrs each for $820 USD. This is what most of our students choose. This package includes all equipment, a private certified instructor, and the IKO certificate at the end of the training, indicating your level. With this certificate, you can continue your progression at other IKO-certified centers or rent equipment.

Every lesson is a 2hrs session, this includes a certified instructor, all equipment needed for

kiteboarding, boat rescue if needed and the IKO certificate. We will  start on land with 10 min theory untill we will grap the equipment and start setting up.  We will show you the safety system and practice the exercies. Usually students start getting on the board on the second lesson. 

Most of our students take private lessons for faster progression, as you will have the full two hours with our equipment and one-on-one instruction from the instructor. Group lessons are fun if you want to share a new experience with your friends or family members.

It has always been a priority for us to put your safety and others on the water first. We are

the only certified kite school in Aruba and we love to share the knowledge of international teaching procedure and safe conduct on the water. Our procedure is sytematique and our instructors have a diploma.

Learning in a IKO center is similar as learning to dive in a PADI center, they are both internationnaly certified center. 

Similar as PADI for diving, IKO and IWO are for kiteboarding and for wingfoiling. At the end

of the course you will get an international certificate with your level, with this you will be able to either continue your progression in another IKO center exactly where you stopped or rent gear if you are an independent rider. Most places in the world like Miami won’t let you go

kiting if you don't have the certificate with a certain level.

They are 2 diffent diciplines. 

1. Kiteboarding typically refers to the sport performed on flat or choppy water surfaces, using a twin-tip board that allows riders to easily switch directions. It emphasizes tricks and jumps and is often the initial style learned by beginners.

2. Kitesurfing, on the other hand, is generally associated with riding waves. 

Both sports use the same kite, but the key difference lies in the type of board used and the water conditions—When you are begginer you need to start with Kiteboarding

If the wind is not good enought for the session we will reschedule for a better time or day. If we can't reschedule due to the wind  for the next day we will get you a full refund. In case the cancelation come from yourside we won't refund as we have limited places.
